Welcome back!

All our parks in England and Wales are now open again! It’s great to see our adult only touring parks coming back to life and filling up with happy faces!

Things have changed, as new measures are now in place to ensure your safety and that of our staff. Our parks are independent and so each park is implementing the measures that best suit their size, circumstances and customers. Watch our new video about reopening.

New regimes

Every park has new safety, cleaning and hygiene protocols, which include social distancing (with plenty of signage), hand sanitiser and more frequent cleaning of communal buildings (if open). Extra sanitising of touch points is being carried out and some parks have introduced a new disinfecting technique known as ‘fogging’.

Most parks have passed the new ‘Good to Go’ accreditation from the English and Welsh Tourist Boards and a number have the new AA COVID-19 Confident shield.

Access to communal buildings

Access to shower blocks and other communal spaces is the biggest change. In Wales, shared facilities are expected to be allowed to open later this month. Not all parks in England have opened the shower and toilet blocks, however, and some have only partially opened them for social distancing reasons. If you have shower, toilet or washing up facilities on board, you may be expected to use them – this is a safer option,.

Expect to find Information rooms or non-essential communal facilities closed. There may also be restricted or no access to laundry and washing up facilities. Please check before you go.

New procedures

Some parks have introduced contactless check-ins and your welcome pack may be downloadable. Arrival times may have changed to allow for more cleaning. If you’re glamping, you may be asked to bring your own crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, as well as bedding.

Our park teams are doing the best they can to ensure you have an enjoyable stay whatever the new requirements may be. They are finding new ways to operate and your patience at this time is very much appreciated.
