The caravan site’s country garden atmosphere, peaceful location and riverside walks are just perfect for a relaxing break close to Exmoor in Somerset.

Waterrow Touring Park caravan site provides peace and tranquillity for all who enjoy caravans, motorhomes and campervans.

We have 41 hard standing pitches, all of which are fully serviced.

All pitches have 16A electricity, TV hook-up and free Wi-Fi with the option to upgrade to fast internet. There is a motorhome service point.

A converted country barn contains all facilities in a unique, dry environment.

Spacious shower cubicles, easily operated controls and plentiful free hot water fed from our own spring.

A wet room provides facilities for disabled guests who have RADAR keys. Also within the barn is tourist information, library, washing-up sinks, freezer, microwave, coffee machine and laundry.

Shops are 3 miles at Wiveliscombe where you can buy local Somerset produce.

Calor gas is available on site.

We also arrange painting courses throughout the year along with other functions such as hog roasts.

You’ll be inspired by glorious Somerset scenery and wildlife around the park.

Friendly dogs are welcome at Waterrow Touring Park, we have a lovely fenced field for them to exercise along with short walks onsite and many longer circular walks off site. Please bear in mind we are in a coombe (valley) so some of the walks can be very hilly.

The Rock Inn serves good food and fine Somerset beverages just a staggering 500 yards from the park.

We are pleased to offer secure storage, cleaning and servicing so your caravan is in prime condition any time you choose to visit. Plus we do have limited seasonal pitches available.

You can walk or cycle around this lovely part of West Somerset,or take a bus from the park gate.

There are footpaths around Waterrow Touring Park which join the West Deane Wayalong the River Tone Valley.

Fishing for trout at Waterrow Touring Park is for the expert, though there is good fishing for all at Exebridge, Shillingford, Wimbleball Reservoirs and Oakford, all of which are just a short drive.

A scenic 30 minute drive takes you to Dulverton, gateway to Exmoor National Park, where livestock and ponies graze freely over 265 square miles of unspoiled heathland, woods and deep river valleys.

Popular places to visit are Tarr Steps, Dunkery Beacon, Lynton & Lynmouth, the Valley of the Rocks and Doone Valley.

Step back in time on a West Somerset Railway train as it ambles 20 miles to the picturesque port at Watchet and along the coast to Minehead.

Tea rooms at the medieval castle town of Dunster are a popular stop along the journey.

In addition to its castle, the town has a priory, dovecote, ancient yarn market, packhorse bridge and mill.

If you are a lover of gardens and National Trust Properties, there are many to see in Somerset.

Knightshayes Court, Hestercombe Gardens, Arlington Court, Killerton House, Cothay Manor and Gardens, East Lambrook Manor and Tintinhull are all nearby.

The caravan site is central for visiting towns and resorts in Somerset and Devon.

Bampton is just over the Devon border.

It is in a conservation area and offers good local shopping, pubs and restaurants.

Bampton’s October Charter Fair is famous for crafts and Exmoor pony trading.

Our Somerset county town of Taunton provides retail therapy.

Local recreational facilities include Golf at Oake Manor, outdoor swimming at Wiveliscombe and sports centres with indoor swimming at Wellington, Taunton and Tiverton.

Whichever season you choose to visit, there will be something to delight you at our ‘garden in the valley’.
