Bowood House and Gardens run Private Walled Garden Tours – 

Bowood House and Gardens opens between April and November every year and is open 7 days a week.
Bowood House is the magnificent family home of the Marquis and Marchioness of Lansdowne.

They offer a ‘Twilight rate’ after 2 pm Mon – Sun of £20 Mon – Fri and £25 Sat and Sun.

 

Calne Bike Meet – Saturday 30th July – Largest Free Motor Cycle Meet in Europe
From 10am in the town centre the bikes will take over. if you love bikes you will be impressed by the thousands of them here on the day. There will be owner’s clubs, stalls and traders all around the town peddling their wares and goods. To watch the bikes and to walk round the town on Sat is free. At 5pm, the town will rattle and vibrate to the sound of hundreds of motorcycles all warming up to roll out on an official ride out.

2nd, 3rd & 4th of September 2016.
