Larger than average, level, landscaped pitches are laid out over 6 paddocks across 15 acres of Somerset countryside, each with individual characteristics and views. Mature trees and shrub borders create space and privacy for you to unwind.
There are 3 choices of pitch (4 from 2022): standard electric, fully serviced, super pitch, super plus (from March 2022) or premier pitch. And if camping or caravanning isn’t your thing, we offer 3 top quality choices of glamping accommodation ~ glamping pods, luxury shepherd huts and mini cedar lodges. Some even have their own private, wood-fired hot tub!
Motor caravans and RVs (up to 30ft) can use our motorhome waste disposal point. And if you’re the unlucky one that gets the job of emptying the toilet, why not try out one of our automatic toilet cassette cleaning machines?
Two spotlessly clean, centrally heated and well-equipped amenity buildings mean no queuing at Old Oaks. Enjoy lots of free hot water, plenty of privacy shower rooms, 2 laundries, 2 dishwashing areas, ladies vanity bar, fridge and freezers for your ice-packs and free use of 2 microwaves.

Around the hills are spectacular gorges at Ebbor and Cheddar and the amazing underground caves of Cheddar and Wookey Hole.
Many more attractions are within 30 minutes drive: Longleat Safari Park, Haynes Motor Museum, historic aircraft at The Fleet Air Arm Museum, an enchanting journey to the Somerset coast on the West Somerset Railway steam train or a trip through the Mendip Hills on the East Somerset Railway.
If birdwatching or nature are your thing, there are several nature reserves nearby, including Ham Wall, Shapwick Heath, Westhay and Greylake.
But then, there’s not need to travel anywhere. You can walk the many footpaths and cycle trails around Old Oaks, explore the diverse wildlife and bird-watching habitats or enjoy fishing the site’s well-stocked pool.
