‘New Lodge Farm’ takes centre stage in major film
In the May half term, Tranquil Parks New Lodge Farm is being used as the location for a film, set on a campsite and starring Ian Reddington.
The Film, “The Break” written by Ross McGowan is due to be filmed on location here from Tuesday 26th to Friday 29th May with a cast and crew of about 25
The story is about a couple who go on a camping trip in a tent, and how their relationship comes increasingly under strain as time progresses and hints towards other stresses in their lives The drama is largely viewed through the eyes of their young son.
The film is a quiet and reflective piece that will be shown at upcoming Film festivals
The reason for choosing New Lodge Farm is its calm and peaceful and beautiful surroundings, (so no car chases or shoot outs!!) The Friday night will involve some filming at dusk.
