Daisy Bank Touring Caravan Park is a delightful adult-only caravan park on the Wales border with glorious views of the Shropshire hills.

It’s a beautifully landscaped caravan site well known for a warm welcome and great relaxation all year-round.

The area is a treasure for walkers, cyclists and wildlife lovers being central for exploring mid Wales, the historic ‘March’ towns and rural Shropshire.

Daisy Bank Touring Caravan Park is an AA 5 Pennant caravan and camping site, a standard we’re proud to offer our guests.

The site is laid out into four areas, each with their own attractive features and views.

Caravan and Motorhome pitches are full service hard standings with 16amp electric hook-up, fresh water and waste water drainage.

We have 4 camping pods available for hire and from 2019 2 luxury Lodges also available for holiday rental.

Digital TV hook up is now available on most pitches.

Two facilities buildings house luxury shower rooms each with wash hand basin, vanity unit and WC.

There is a full disabled suite easily accessible from gently sloping paths.

Showers are free and there is plentiful hot water.

We also have a laundry/drying room and a small shop at reception selling a few essentials and Calor gas.

You can borrow DVD’s and books from our library.

Guests have free use of an excellent putting green; we’ll lend you putters and balls.

Daisy Bank Touring Caravan Park is a dog friendly caravan site.

Our large, fenced dog walk must be one of the most scenic in Wales with views of the Shropshire hills surrounding the park.

The Shropshire market town of Bishops Castle offers a choice of places to eat-out or enjoy a drink after a hard day relaxing, and there are also hostelries nearby in Churchstoke.

Our valley is beautiful at any time of the year, so do come and see us soon.

Activities and Local Places of Interest

Daisy Bank Touring Caravan Park is ideal for walking or cycling the Wales, Shropshire border.

Local trails include Offas Dyke, The Severn Way, Shropshire Way, The Jack Mytton Way and the Kerry Ridgeway.

Roundton Nature Reserve overlooks the park and is popular for wildlife, bird watching and views across mid Wales.

Wales is a romantic mix of mountains, sea and Celtic culture.

Its dramatic history can be seen in the nearby ‘March’ towns protected by ancient castles.

A stroll around Montgomery and its castle is a step back in time, while Welshpool retains its market town charm overlooked by Powys Castle and its lovely gardens.

The canal is a picturesque feature of the town which is also the terminus of the Llanfair Steam Railway.

The Shropshire Hills and towns have a gentle character.

Join the Long Myndd trail at the National Trust, Carding Hill Valley to enjoy extensive views over the area.

The Stiperstones is a rocky outcrop mined since Roman times.

Nearby towns include, Bishops Castle, hillside market town famous for brewing and Craven Arms for Stokesay Castle.

You can follow the River Severn from Wales to Shrewsbury, Telford and Ironbridge Gorge.

There is fishing in the River Severn and Montgomery canal and Golf at Welshpool.

Bargain hunters will love the Sunday afternoon market at “Tuffins” in Churchstoke.
