Welcome Keal Lodge Caravan Park
We’re very pleased to welcome Keal Lodge Caravan Park to Tranquil Parks. This peaceful, landscaped site is one mile outside the village of Deeping St James near Peterborough in Cambridgeshire, and is run by the Rogers family (pictured below).
As keen caravaners themselves, the family have used their experience to create a site which is fully geared to enabling the perfect visit. The emphasis is on a peaceful stay in a beautifully maintained landscaped setting.
There are two award-winning, adult only sites at Keal Lodge. In addition to the small, licensed Touring Site, which has become a member of Tranquil Parks, there’s a Caravan and Motorhome Club Members Only Certificated Location (CL) site. The CL has been operating for over 25 years and, during that time has won multiple nationally recognised awards.
Building upon this success, the family decided to develop the ‘Touring Site’, adjacent to the CL but screened from it, around 12 years ago. This too was designated as adult only with peace and tranquillity remaining the cornerstone of the family’s vision.
Standards on both sites are of the highest quality and this has been the key to their achievement of so many awards. VisitEngland has rated the touring park 4 stars and given it the Gold Award for 2021.
There are eleven pitches on the Tranquil Parks site, ten of which are hardstandings. Whilst visitors require their own sanitation, every effort is made to ensure an easy stay. Every pitch is fully serviced, having its own electric hook up, individual water supply and grey water drain.
Small, peaceful and dog friendly (there is a large dog-exercise field available), Keal Lodge is open from Easter to October. It’s a great base for exploring the ‘The Deepings’ – a collection of historic and picturesque villages near the Lincolnshire border and within easy reach of the beautiful Georgian town of Stamford.
The site is a short and pleasant walk from Deeping St James which boasts pubs, restaurants, shops, bus services and river bank walks. In fact the whole area is perfect for walking, cycling or just relaxing in beautiful surroundings.
The Rogers family also run Border Caravan Storage and a self-storage facility.
