Welcome Trethem Mill Touring Park
We’re delighted to welcome Trethem Mill Touring Park to our network of adult only parks. This award winning park will become child free from April 2021 when it opens for the new season.
Trethem Mill Touring Park is on the Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall. It’s just three miles from the picturesque fishing village of St. Mawes.
Like most Tranquil Parks, this is a family run business. Jane and Ian Akeroyd, their son, Jake, and Ian’s father, Derek, all work on the park.
The family took over the park 28 years ago and have created a peaceful haven with beautiful grounds. They decided to go adult only because they tend to attract the type of guests who want to take it easy and enjoy the birdsong. They believe that many guests will welcome the move.
Trethem Mill Touring Park won the title ‘AA Southwest Campsite of the Year 2019’. It has the 5 star gold rating from Visit England as well as the top AA rating of 5 pennants platinum. It also has the gold Bellamy Conservation award among its many accolades.
Facilities include a fabulous dog and nature walk, stunning gardens, a licensed shop with local produce and immaculate toilet and shower blocks.
The park will close for the winter on 10 October 2020 and reopen on 1 April 2021.
