Frankfurt Christmas Market, Birmingham, the largest outside Germany

There are no bank holiday rates being charged at Somers Wood Caravan Park over Christmas, and the weekly saver applies. This means you can take £20 off if you stay for seven nights or more.
The park is just a short drive or train ride from Birmingham, which hosts the Frankfurt Christmas Market, the largest outside of Germany, from 15 November to 23 December. You’ll also receive a £5 voucher on arrival that you can use for your stay at the park next year.

Local light switch-ons near Overbrook and Wayfarers Caravan Parks

They may be at opposite ends of the country, with Overbrook Caravan Park in North Yorkshire and Wayfarers Caravan Park in Cornwall, but both have fun festive light switch-ons nearby.
Overbrook has availability over Christmas (it’s full for New Year) and also for the local light switch-on in the picturesque village of Thornton-le-Dale. The park’s ‘Winter Weeks’ offer runs from 29 October until 1 January, (excluding Christmas and New Year) and the park closes in early January. See Overbrook Special Offers.
There are statics and hardstanding pitches available at Wayfarers Caravan Park near Penzance, which now has a longer open season until 2 January, and has a 5-for-4 nights offer running (excluding Christmas and New Year). Invitation to Christmas on Dartmoor from Woodland Springs Touring Park

Set inside the Dartmoor National Park, Woodland Springs Touring Park has a special offer from 1 October to 1 April, including Christmas and New Year. It’s 7-for-5 nights and there are no charges for dogs or other pets.

Premier Christmas markets and on-site festive fun – Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park

Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park is ideally located for some premier Christmas markets. The first to start is Bristol on 9 November, but for many, the countdown to Christmas really starts with the magic of Bath Christmas Market (22 November to 9 December).

Bath is transformed into a winter wonderland with the famous Christmas market

Bath Christmas Market  is one of the nation’s most famous celebrations as the city is transformed into a winter wonderland of light and joy with around 175 decorated wooden chalets adorning the square in front of the beautifully illuminated Abbey. See the park’s website page on Christmas markets.
Voted ‘Best Open All Year Caravan Site 2018’, Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park will be lit up with Christmas illuminations from 22 November. There’s always a wonderful Christmas spirit around the park as a prize is awarded for the ‘Best Decorated’ unit – a free 3 night stay. Everyone gets involved and there’s a complimentary bottle of wine for every caravan or motorhome taking part.

Wells Christmas Market and North Somerset Carnivals

For a local, friendly festival, the Wells Christmas market is from 19 to 22 December, and Santa’s sleigh will be hauled through Wells by real reindeer on 9 December. Both Wells Touring Park and Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park and make ideal bases for exploring North Somerset.
Some of the most spectacular free shows around are the Somerset carnivals. These are widely recognised as the largest illuminated processions in Europe, with the Wells carnival taking place on 17 November.
At Wells Touring park, you can enjoy 15% off a 7 night stay this autumn (apart from carnival weekend).

Christmas and New Year at Waterrow Touring Park

If you spend the festive season at Waterrow Touring Park, located near the Somerset/Devon border, you can enter a fun competition in aid of Air Ambulance or win a prize for the best decorated caravan or motorhome.
You’re also invited to a New Year celebration at nearby Oake Manor which includes a gourmet dinner, music, fireworks and a piper. A coach service can be booked to and from the park. ‘Christmas with a Difference’ in South Wales

This is the first year that Christmas opening is being promoted at the South Wales Touring Park near Llanelli.  The park has sent us three favourite ‘Christmas with a Difference’ events taking place nearby, and there’s availability at the park for all of them:

Open until 2 January, Lamb Cottage Caravan Park invites you to experience the magic of Chester Christmas Market which takes place in the heart of the city from 16 November to 22 December.
Manchester’s 9 award winning Christmas markets return from 9 November to 22 December (23 December for the Albert Square market) with an amazing array of food drink and gifts from European and local producers. Gelderwood Country Park is conveniently located 9 miles from Manchester and is open all year round.
