Plough Lane Caravan Site Latest News
Here at Plough Lane Caravan Park we have had a busy winter updating all our tourist info – we have rearranged our brochures to make it easier for folks to find and explore the main areas of attractions accessible from the site.
We have also updated our popular welcome pack and created three local walks with historical interest which we’re sure you’ll love.
With the help of our guests we’re proud to share that we raised over £450 for Crohn’s and Colitis UK last year.
This season inspired partially by the recent sighting of a Red Kite over the site we have decided to name the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust our charity of the year for 2015.
Oh and finally and most important to some!
We have also managed to renegotiate a generous discount voucher with one of our local pubs. The Hit or Miss offers great food and is within walking distance (1 mile) of the site.
What’s coming up this season!
This month we thought it would be nice to highlight a couple of local events right here on our doorstep that visitors have really enjoy over he last few years.
Firstly we’re sure you’d enjoy our local village Scare Crow festival (20th – 21st June) which is always a great fun weekend.
Secondly, the WOMAD music festival (24th – 26th July 2015) which features the best in world music and dance is always very popular so be sure to book your pitch early to avoid disappointment!
