Set within 20 acres offering stunning views of Dartmoor and the countryside beyond. Our touring site is open for relaxation and holidays all year round.
Moorview offers 65 hard standing, fully serviced, all weather touring pitches with electric hook up , fresh water and grey waste drain. set out in 17 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds, offering views to Dartmoor and beyond.
Pitches accommodate car, caravan and awning usually with a lawned area to each pitch.
We do not charge for awnings
There are two shower/toilet blocks (designated ladies and men’s) with hairdryers and shaving points.
Laundry facilities with commercial washers and dryers as well as sinks for dishwashing and a constant supply of hot water.
Recreational room, for those who wish to partake in a game of table tennis or simply relax and watch television or read a book. Computers/printers also available for those that need to combine work with pleasure.
Moorview is a dog friendly park, your four-legged friend will enjoy our fenced off dog walking area which also provides stunning views. Complimentary poo bags are provided too
Just around the corner from us is a wonderful shop and petrol station that stocks a vast array of products, ingredients and beverages including ready made meals from the “Cook” range as well as local produced preserves and beverages.
The lively and every popular California Inn is a short drive or stroll away and offers a menu to suit every taste.
Our location is truly fantastic and offers a host of opportunities to get out and about and exploring whether that be near or far.
Bigbury, Bantham, South Milton Sands and Hope Cove are fantastic beaches, each with their own very special features. Bigbury provided the inspiration for two of Agatha Christies novels and if you have the opportunity to enjoy a cool drink at 700 year Pilchard Inn, you will understand why – it’s just idyllic. Bantham, just along the coast is one of the best surfing beaches in the area and South Milton offers the most glorious sun sets and breath taking views.
The beautiful towns of Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Modbury are close by and offer a vast array of restaurants, taverns and shopping opportunities.

The nearest Post code to us Is PL21 OSG, but please read the directions below.
At the end of the MS (J31) take the A38 towards Plymouth.
After about 20 miles leave the A38 at the Modbury turn off and turn LEFT at the top of the
slip road.
THE BEST THING TO DO NOW IS TURN YOUR SAT NAV OFF
Keep straight on at the new roundabout, go straight across and continue straight on.
At California Cross, you will have The California Inn on your right and the petrol station on
your left. Keep straight on, don’t turn left or right, after about 200 yards follow the road
around to the right – do not take the road on your left.
Moor View will be found on the left hand side in approx quarter of a mile.
Look out for our signs.
